SUMMARY

Ann Merchant helped launch the Science and Entertainment Exchange, which connects film and media professionals with top scientists and engineers. The Exchange helped connect Neil deGrasse Tyson with Seth MacFarlane to produce the Cosmos television series. Merchant will be discussing the history and future of presenting science and science issues in films and TV shows.
