Location: The Greater Big Bend International Dark Sky Reserve (in Far West Texas), the largest dark reserve on Planet Earth.
This experimental art film will explore the deeper meanings of the international "dark skies" movement, suggesting that it embodies a radical new philosophy for technological civilization. The film will draw extensively from the insights of Julia Hildebrand's and Barry Vacker's "Hot and Cool in the MediaScene," an international award-winning essay and art exhibit.
